POETRY GONG / “New to you” Day 7

October 19, 2010
By

Wahoo! Seven days. Seven poems. Zip into the comments section right now and show off your last poem from our inaugural gong. (You can still zip, can’t you? The gong didn’t tire you out, did it?)

Much applause! YOU DID IT!!!!

And now you will ask the only logical question: Do I get a break now? No! That’s not the right question. This is the right question: When is the next gong? Well, we’re so glad you asked! It’s soon. Very, very soon. We’ll keep you posted.

What is this all about?

Some of us under the Big Tent are writing a poem-a-day for seven days on the theme “new to you” (click here to see what this is all about). If this challenge isn’t something that interests you and you’d just like to stick to the weekly prompts, that’s perfectly OK. We are hosting our weekly prompts alongside these gongs, so feel free to ignore this madness, and please hold your weekly prompt responses for our Friday gatherings.
