The North Haven Garden Club, in conjunction with the Federated Garden Club’s of Connecticut and the National Garden Club, invited young writers to participate in its 2022 poetry contest. This year’s theme was “Sing with the Songbirds – Exploring the glory of nature.

A small ceremony was held at the North Haven Library on June 13 and each participant in the local contest received a certificate and gift card from the North Haven Garden Club.
In addition, each entered poem received a certificate from the Federated, New England and National clubs.
